Min Seung-ki is a ceramic artist known for the expressive brushwork that characterises his buncheong work, a Korean ceramic tradition in which white slip is applied over dark clay to create bold, painterly surfaces. He reflects on the life of his pieces, noting that “when ceramic works leave the potter, they soon become objects within one’s space,” emphasising the journey from studio to home. His work has been exhibited internationally, including at Collect Art Fair in London, and is held in collections such as the Icheon World Ceramic Centre and the Museum of Joseon Royal Kiln in Gwangju.
