Kim Sang-man is a ceramic artist known for his contemporary approach to buncheong, a traditional form of Korean stoneware characterised by a grey clay body and the use of white slip for bold, tactile decoration. Educated at Kookmin University and Sydney University, he combines a strong foundation in Korean craft with an international outlook. His work has been featured in exhibitions such as his 2024 solo show at Roh Young-hee Gallery, as well as presentations at Taiwan, the KCDF Gallery, and the Gyeonggi Ceramic Museum. In addition to his studio practice, Kim has given lectures at Seoul National University and Kookmin University.
