Emperor Penguin Mug
Oh Eugene is a ceramic artist who graduated from the Korea National University of Cultural Heritage with a major in ceramics in 2015. A central inspiration for her practice is the depiction of animals, reflected prominently in her Deep Nature series, where she captures the spirit and vitality of animal life with sensitivity and nuance. Her work has been exhibited in Korea and abroad, including the 2017 Black & White Garden exhibition at Mupei Gallery in Jingdezhen, China, as well as group exhibitions in Seoul. She received a prize at the 46th Korea Craft Competition in 2016 and has participated in major industry events, including the 2016 Craft Trend Fair at COEX in Seoul.
