Lee Hyeon-han is a Korean ceramic artist based in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, where he runs Hanlim Ceramics, a workshop dedicated to creating functional, handcrafted tableware. Originally trained in philosophy, Lee discovered his passion for ceramics after being introduced to the craft while studying in Germany. After returning to Korea and learning techniques such as casting, wheel-throwing, and firing through various workshops near Seoul, he established his own studio and has been working independently for several years. While grounded in Korean ceramic traditions, Lee also enjoys exploring freer forms and experimental colours, creating pieces that emphasise individuality rather than uniform sets.
