  • Kim Mun-ho is a ceramic artist known for his mastery of the traditional Buncheong style and his use of a wood-fired kiln. Buncheong is a historic Korean ceramic tradition characterised by its earthy clay body, white slip decoration, and expressive, often spontaneous surface techniques. A graduate of Mokpo National University, Kim has exhibited widely since his first solo show in Seoul in 1997, presenting work internationally in Germany, USA, France and the UK, as well as at major cultural events such as COEX KIAF in Seoul and the Kyeongju World Culture Expo. He has also held prominent roles including chairman of the National Art Associations in Mokpo and president of the Muan County Artists Hall.
